I don't really know. (Part II)

So, we kept on googling up about guinea pigs care. We upgrade the cage again and again. hehehhe. Tlampau motivated baaa. we added the kitchen area since the food and the hay keep on spilling everywhere. So now, kitchen area is very essential to our cage. Thanks again to piggiepigpigs for the idea. eheheh. there's one thing That i like to say here, hay. The importance of hay in guinea pig's diet. Read that timothy hay is very good for them and best to avoid alfalfa since the high content of calcium. But alfalfa is good for pregnant mothers and young pigs. Then again, timothy is very very veryyyyyyy hard to find here. Altho it is available, its still quite expensive. Like a kilo for $10+++.. Might as well be bankrupt. hehehe. Touch wood. Touch wood. Bought em once a while, but it' was finished in no time. They really love hayyy!!! XD (grinning/smilling/laughing wide with eyes closed, i never really get it right, always pronounced em as X & D whenever I saw it, hahah)  am very very jealous with the availability of hay in another country. Hehe. Remember one time when there was no stock of hay, except for alfalfa, anywhere!! We were dead worry about our piggies. Thank goodness one of my FB friend have them and she just gave all of hay to us, Thank u again(u know who u are). At the moment, we are using the mountain hay for them.. Havent really checked if it is good for them. But there's a picture of teeth and stomach on the cover. heheh. So it might be good. Oh dang! So forgetful! Suppose to get another pack earlier. Well.. Tomorrow will do. Hay is important for piggy's teeth and intestine/digestion. Their teeth will grow long and hurt their mouth and cause their poop to be licak2. Sian jua tu. So hay hay hay everyday and everytime!!!! But hey, what do I know.

I know that I did something right. We have NINE piggies now!! So fat and belabih!! Not too fat. hehehe. Sang Chu's weight is about 950grams now. The others are around 800-900grams. Except for Caramel. She's soo small. She might have some kind of aa...a... i dont know the word. Mutation? Disability? Runt? Soo small piggeh! Compare to Sang Chu and Baby Puteh. Baby Puteh was kinda small. But his weight is normal for his age. The new babies are around 600-700gm and growing!!

Nearing the 800g mark

We have four cages now. We wished that if we could only make one or two big cage for all of them. But too bad, the boys (Sang Chu, Rocky and Pepe) dont like to share! They dont wanna backed down. Thank god that we thought baby Putehs was a girl when we put him wth Rocky. Rocky must be confused about it too. Haha. In their cage, Rocky is the boss. We don't now at first how to sexed them. Now, we find it quite easy to see. Hahaha. Just now I look up the internet about sexing guinea pig, so I found a very useful site for me to share - http://cavyspirit.com/sexing.htm - So before that, a little quiz heheheh...
Male or female? :) (u can find the answer from the link above)
But I might be wrong..How would I know. I have written on another post about the food, so I'm not gonna touch about it here. But there is one mix food sold here that have garlic as one of the ingredients. Lemme check. I donno if it is poisonous. maybe not. Lemme share some info about poisonous food for them. Alang-alang membacakan...hehehe...

I dont know bah why. I dont wanna say/share anything much in my FB, since I think that people might hate me for doing so. Here, I can do and say whatever I want. I want every guinea pigs in the world to be happy and well. It hurts to see and cant say much about it. As long as my piggies are well and happy. That's all that matter. Im not saying that I'm a better pet owner. There's always room for improvement. Ok ok ok..

My piggies really do love kangkung, I dont really know why, a day its $1 worth of kangkung. 3 times daily.  It never seemed to be enough for them and they keep on wanting more. The sound of the rustling leaves and the plastic bag really gets them wheeking in high pitch. Hahaha. I know it not good, but I dont know. Been doing it for months and months now. Their poop is still firm and nice. I figured that as long as they get their hay to balanced it out. No squishy poop and constipation going on. Since their poop passed out nice and easy when observed. hehehehhe..Disgusting! Nah..Its not. I also read that, the older the piggy gets, the more poop it make! Thats explains a lot! hehehe

I might be getting my tenth piggeh by the end of the month! Cant wait!
